About Me

Rabbi Yehonasan Gefen
I was brought up in London with a sense of jewish identity but not much connection to Jewish observance. I became more observant through Aish HaTorah, and eventually studied there for four great years. I then got married and joined the kollel of Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits Shlita - I have been there for over 6 years and now teach in the kollel and help in fundraising. My new blog is titled 'The Jerusalem Kollel' because its contents are largely based on the teachings of the head of the Jerusalem Kollel, Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits Shlita. He is expert in all areas of Torah, but one of his areas of focus has been inter-personal relationships.
